Change in management at Kappa Optronics
Johannes Overhues replaces Christian Stickl
Johannes Overhues has already taken over the management of Kappa Optronics on May 1, 2020. He replaces Christian Stickl, who headed the camera and image processing specialist for four years. He will leave the company after a transitional period.
As a graduate engineer in process engineering, Overhues brings with him relevant experience in the field of industrial thermal imaging cameras and measurement and control technology. Most recently, he was CEO of GHM Messtechnik GmbH, which he helped to internationalize and lead to profitable growth. Prior to that, he was CEO and sales manager in various companies, including GEA Group, MKS Instruments and Lumasense Technologies (now Advanced Energy).
Johannes Overhues: "The shareholders and I would like to thank Christian Stickl for his commitment and hard work over the past four years. In addition to a leading position in aviation-certified camera systems, Kappa has outstanding other portfolio products, for example in the field of all-round vision systems on vehicles. We will continue to expand our unique selling point, outstanding image quality for intuitive and safe operation, for the benefit of our customers". Despite the corona crisis, the company is growing profitably, as Kappa Optronics announces.
