Boston Vision Show cancelled

11.03.2020 -

Due to the continuing uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus outbreak, the Association for Advancing Automation (A3), the parent organization of the organizer Global Association for Vision Information (AIA), has decided to cancel the Vision Show in Boston, USA. It should have taken place from 9 to 11 June 2020. The next time it will take place is two years from now, in June 2022.

Although the A3 acknowledges that the situation is constantly changing at the moment, it was important for it to act early and decisively to provide clarity for exhibitors and participants. "We didn’t make this decision lightly, but the safety of our visitors and exhibitors is our top priority. Out of an abundance of caution, we felt it best to cancel now," said Jeff Burnstein, President of A3.

Online vision conference to fill the gap

To fill the gap left by the Vision Show, A3 is planning an online vision conference this year to present the latest information on new machine vision technology, advances in integration solutions and ready-to-use practical use cases.
