As a leader in high-quality inspection technology for industrial QA/QC, Olympus comes to Stuttgart with a range of innovative QA solutions. It includes the latest innovations in ultrasonic inspection, X-ray fluorescence, remote visual inspection and microscopy. Visitors will also be able to get a sneak peek at the new DSX1000 digital microscope, on booth 6302, hall 6, to be officially launched in June.

Olympus’ DSX1000 will be the successor to the highly successful DSX500/510, which has been a mainstay in digital microscopy for QA/QC for many years. Markus Fabich, Market Specialist Manufacturing at Olympus commented: “We’re delighted to be presenting our new DSX1000 to the public at Control 2019. The introduction of this cutting-edge microscope is likely to have an enormous impact on the way people experience digital microscopy in QA and QC in terms of precision, speed and usability.”

Olympus’ booth will feature the very latest in videoscope technology, including the recently launched IPLEX GX/GT – a versatile videoscope designed for challenging RVI in hard-to-access locations. Also at the show will be the IPLEX NX with new, transformed software – now enabling 3D visualization. It allows inspectors to view objects from multiple angles and supports super widefield stereo measurement to ensure precise, reliable 3D measurements.

In the ultrasonic inspection range, Olympus will exhibit the new FlexoFORM scanner, which facilitates the inspection of curved surfaces, such as elbow pipes. In addition, the LEXT OLS5000 confocal microscope and the handheld Vanta XRF analyzer will also feature on booth.

Hailed as the “Mecca of the QA industry”, the Control international trade fair will take place at Messe Stuttgart from 7 to 10 May 2019. It offers visitors an invaluable overview of current worldwide offerings in technologies, processes, products and system solutions in the field of industrial QA. Around 900 exhibitors will attend this year’s event, highlighting its role as a key event in every QA professional’s diary.
