Phytec trainings in fall 2018: i.MX 8 product workshops and Linux for the industry

25.09.2018 -

Phytec is partnering with NXP to offer product workshops for the i.MX 8 family - perfect for the market introduction of the new processors. Interested parties will get an overview of the processors, modules and development kits and find in consultation with Phytec developers and experts of the manufacturer the right processor and the best way to develop their projects. The one-day training will take place on October 9th at Phytec in Mainz and on October 25th and December 11th at NXP in Munich and costs EUR 49 plus VAT per participant. Further dates are planned. All companies that register their planned i.MX 8 processor project by September 21 through the www.phytec.de/imx-8 website and purchase a kit will receive a training coupon.

In addition, Phytec is in the second half of the year fit for the use of Linux in the industry - with seminars on Yocto project from 18.-21. September and from 06.09. November 2018. Linux expert Robert Berger shows in theory and practice how the Yocto Project can be used to develop and maintain custom Linux distributions for industrial applications.

In the five-day workshop Linux Embedded for beginners with Andreas Klinger, the Linux components required for an embedded board are created and adapted. The necessary know-how for this is practiced directly on an embedded system from Phytec. The course takes place from 15.-19. October.

Both Linux trainings take place at Phytec in Mainz. A Phytec development kit is part of the package as well as the food and an evening event.
