INSPECT Acquires New Editor-in-Chief
16.03.2012 -
With immediate effect, Bernhard Schroth shall be assuming the role of Editor-in-Chief at INSPECT. After studying Geology and working as a Research Assistant at RWTH Aachen, Schroth moved to Leica Microsystems GmbH, where he was in charge of profit centre imaging and image analysis. He subsequently took up employment at GIT VERLAG, where he set up the international English-language journal, Imaging & Microscopy, introduced it onto the market and further advanced its content, successfully establishing the professional trade publication as a market leader in its field.
Since joining GIT VERLAG, Bernhard Schroth has described magazine making as a professional interplay of the head, heart and hand. With recent success in the GIT field of Responsible Health Care, he's now glad to be returning to the world of machine vision and optical metrology, where, in his role as Chief Editor, he'll continue to build on INSPECT's success, in collaboration with Gabriele Jansen, head of INSPECT's Advisory Board, and the rest of the team.
